GOOD STUFF TO KNOW ABOUT RHUBARB

Rhubarb is a pretty pink stalk that most people know from favorites like rhubarb pies and crisps. In some instances part of the stalk is green, but don’ worry – pink, red or green, you can still eat it! Rhubarb is a wonderfully tart springtime treat.

STORAGE TIPS

Rhubarb, should be used up relatively quickly. You can store it in your fridge, in a plastic bag for up to 5 days. You can also freeze rhubarb: simply chop and store in a bag or container in your freezer.

Rhubarb is usually eaten cooked, due to it’s super tart flavor when eaten raw. Rhubarb is commonly paired with strawberries in desserts and jams – a tasty combination! We also love rhubarb all by itself in pastries and sweet sauces.
